Our Story

It was the hallways of Hants North Rural High where Grace and Matthew's story begins as true high-school sweethearts. I'm sure everyone is convinced they both chose to go to Acadia University so they could be together - Grace to study chemistry, and Matthew to start Engineering. While it was definitely a perk, it was just the best of coincidences they were both already planning to study in Wolfville. And since then they've stuck together through it all:

From rural NS (affectionately known as "the woods" by their University friends) to Wolfville, to Halifax for Matthew to finish his Engineering degree at Dalhousie University, to Bedford where they were living when Matthew finally popped the question (which was a surprise to Grace, although maaaany people would ultimately come forward to say "It was about time!"), and finally to settle in Elmsdale in their first home where Pocus the calico kitten joined their family.

Might as well make things official! As if the years spent together and the legalities in buying a house don't already make the relationship official... but they're still excited to throw a big party to celebrate.
